Additional healing modalities are used pre and post treatment, such as heat, ice, electric muscle stim, and specialized soft tissue therapies. Our patients often use the REPEX physical therapy table and opt for Class IV LASER therapy. We use high-powered LASER therapy because it can penetrate deeply down to the disc, dramatically accelerating the healing process while simultaneously decreasing pain and inflammation. We also use something called the ATM2, which is a mechanism for protecting the spine while the disc is being rehabilitated.
